Backup policy, Do you provide backups?

You are responsible for your backups and web content.

We create our own weekly and monthly backups on the shared servers, and we can restore from those. However, this is NOT a procedure you should rely on to keep your content safe. Backups made weekly on Sunday; the newest backups are kept. We make no guarantees about our backups, and we do require a $15 fee to restore the Navicosoft backups. If you can provide your own backup file, then the fee is $0 (free).

On the Dedicated, we do not make any backups. You can partition space on your hard drive for backups, or purchase a new hard drive for backups.


We will NOT provide a script that backs up your site (such as for cron jobs).


How do I restore my own backup?
A partial backup can be restored in cPanel, same place where you made the backup.

A full backup must be restored by the root user for the server. We will restore your full backups for free. Simply email to support@navicosoft.com. Please indicate the name of the file and where we can find it.
